Job Description | Role and Responsibilities
Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations.
Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests.
Monitor Servers and Support application/product. Handle Alerts/Alarm and provide support for OS, DB and applications.
Relevant years' experience in handling Production Infra and DevOps
Must have knowledge of AWS Cloud infra (EC2, ALB, ASG, Route53, IAM, S3 etc.), Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS etc.), Unix and Shell scripting (python, Perl)
Must have Experience with Installation and troubleshooting of nginx, HAProxy, MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Postfix etc. and any application which may be required.
Experience with configuring LBs like HAProxy and Nginx, WANs, LANs, IP addressing, Subnetting, NAT, switching, VPNs, load balancers and firewalls in on premise and cloud environments.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible/Puppet for bulk installation of applications
Experience setting up open Source Monitoring systems like Nagios, Icinga or others.
Experience with ticketing tools like Redmine etc.
Experience with git and/or github, LDAP/AD and SSO, CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus.
Preliminary investigation of alerts based on a standard defined procedure
Engagement with customer operations support team.
Possess a good understanding of Internet based technologies (DNS, Security, IP Routing, SSH, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, Email Routing, FTP, SMTP etc.)
