Job Description | Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and features.
- Write scripts and code (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) to extend ServiceNow functionality.
- Create custom portals, widgets, and UI elements.
- Configure and customize existing ServiceNow modules and workflows.
- Analyze business processes to identify areas for automation and optimization.
- Provide expertise on ServiceNow development best practices and technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within ServiceNow.
- Deploy ServiceNow solutions to test and production environments.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other developers.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers.
- Document technical designs, build specifications, and procedures.
Candidate Profile | Who Can Apply
- 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow scripting (UI Policies, Business Rules, etc.).
- Strong JavaScript programming skills.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow workflows and automation.
- Experience with integrations (e.g., SOAP Web Services, Scripted Web Services).
- Understanding of ITSM (IT Service Management) principles and best practices.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform and modules (e.g., ITSM, HR, CSM).
