Job Description | Responsibilities
- To supply prescribed and over-the-counter medicines to customers in a retail pharmacy and give advice on the safe use of medicines and possible side effects.
- Check prescriptions to ensure that there are no errors & that they are appropriate & safe for the individual/ patient as per their need.
- Handle customer complaints/ queries & counselling/ resolving patient’s issues, whenever needed
- Greet and attend customers.
- Providing information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage
- Contacting referring physicians with the questions regarding prescription.
- Organizing the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
- Listen to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice
- Keep records of patient history, pharmacy files, patient profiles, and of all activities regarding medication
- Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures as per FDA
- Advising and suggesting customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment or healthcare supplies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
