- Performing calculations, generating diagrams, and assisting with the development and implementation of engineering plans.
- Load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and calculations for voltage drops.
- Working with equipment and circuits to identify and resolve issues.
- Preparing technical reports and maintaining accurate records of project requirements and results.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and exploring potential applications for new materials and methods.
- Conducting site inspections, installations, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Working with cross-disciplinary teams, such as mechanical and civil engineers, to ensure project success.
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or a closely related field) is typically required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
- Basic experience with software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and potentially CAD software or other engineering-specific programs.
