Job Description | Role and Responsibilities
- Software Experience - Software programming & data manipulation skills using a variety of toolsplatforms like ILOG CPLEX, Gurobi, .NET is desired.
- Implementation of software architecture by software programming using techniques of optimization & tools of math programming.
- Software programming to ensure interaction within existing ERP database, business logic, presentation tier and various optimization solvers.
- Continued R&D on latest development in Operation Research in Transportation Industry to ensure code fidelity and continuous improvement.
- Engineering Masters Bachelors in OR Applied OR Applied Maths from recognized academic institutions.
Candidate Profile | Who Can Apply
- At least Masters in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics or similar quantitative science.
- Ability to translate business problems into conceptual, abstract models. Good understanding of optimization, simulation and data science techniques and experience in developing these algorithms and models.
- Programming skills in optimization environment like Python/Pyomo, Matlab, AIMMS or comparable platforms. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
- A Team player attitude with good communication and presentation skills that you adjust to stakeholders at various business levels.
- Ability to work with experts in the field to monitor advancements in mathematical modelling.
- The drive to continuous learn and improve the Operations Research team delivery capability.
